Young Ejecta

Young Ejecta is an American synth-pop duo of the singer and songwriter Leanne Macomber and the producer Joel Ford, of Ford & Lopatin. They started out as Ejecta and released Dominae in 2013 on Ford’s label, Driftless Recordings, then changed the name in 2014 after a cease-and-desist from a DJ called Ejeca. The mini-album The Planet followed in January 2015 and the album Ride Lonesome in June 2020.

Ejecta Dominae

Leanne Macomber wrote these songs over seven years and Joel Ford polished them. Ejecta's debut is her diary in '80s synth-pop, best when it is saddest.

Young Ejecta The Planet

Renamed after a legal threat, Ejecta came back as Young Ejecta with six songs from the Dominae years, a drier vocal and a song for a friend who died young.
