Your life in music
Not one year: all of them. Drop the history file your streaming service gives you and see your eras, the artists you left behind and the hour you listen most.
Your files never leave this device. Everything runs in this page: you could switch off the connection after it loads and it would still work.
How to get your history
Spotify
- Open your account’s privacy page on spotify.com and go to “Download your data”.
- Tick “Extended streaming history”. It covers your whole account, with skips; Spotify says it can take a few weeks.
- When the email arrives, download the .zip and drop it here.
Apple Music
- Go to privacy.apple.com and choose “Request a copy of your data”.
- Select “Apple Media Services information”.
- Unzip what you get and drop the Apple Music play history .csv here.
YouTube Music
- Go to Google Takeout and select only “YouTube and YouTube Music”.
- Under the options, choose history only and the JSON format.
- Drop the watch-history.json here. YouTube doesn’t record how long you listened, so this one counts plays.
This is made-up data, to show what you’ll see.
