Portugal. The Man

Portugal. The Man is a rock band from Wasilla, Alaska, based in Portland, Oregon, started in 2004 by John Gourley and Zach Carothers. “Feel It Still”, from its eighth album, Woodstock (2017), reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won the Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Chris Black Changed My Life followed on Atlantic in 2023 and Shish on Thirty Tigers in 2025, by which time Carothers had left the band to work as a fly-fishing guide.
