Mount Eerie

Mount Eerie is the name Phil Elverum has recorded under since 2003, when he set the Microphones aside, and the project is rooted in Anacortes, Washington. Most of its records come out on his own label, P.W. Elverum & Sun. Clear Moon and Ocean Roar (2012) were made as a pair; A Crow Looked at Me (2017) was written after the death of his wife, the artist and musician Geneviève Castrée, in 2016, and Night Palace came out in November 2024.
