Kesha
Kesha Rose Sebert is an American singer and songwriter, born in Los Angeles in 1987 and raised in Nashville, who was billed as Ke$ha until 2014; her debut album, Animal, went to No. 1 in the US in January 2010. In 2014 she sued her former producer Dr. Luke, alleging sexual assault and abuse; he denied the claims and countersued for defamation, and the two settled in June 2023, less than a month before trial, on terms that were not made public. Her last album for Kemosabe and RCA was Gag Order (2023), and she now releases music on her own label, Kesha Records, which put out her sixth album, Period, in July 2025.
On Earbuddy
Kesha's first album in nearly five years, partly written in treatment, swaps the electropop of her early hits for country, garage rock, horns and an orchestra.
