Beyoncé

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, born in Houston in 1981, became famous in the late 1990s as the lead singer of Destiny’s Child and released her first solo album, Dangerously in Love, in 2003. Renaissance (2022) and Cowboy Carter (2024) are the first two parts of a trilogy; Cowboy Carter won Album of the Year at the 2025 Grammys, taking her to a record 35 wins, and its 2025 tour became the highest-grossing country tour on record. In September 2026 she released a 20th-anniversary edition of B’Day with previously unreleased songs.
