Goblin

Goblin is an Italian progressive rock band known for its film scores, above all for Dario Argento’s Profondo Rosso (1975) and Suspiria (1977) and the European cut of George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead (1978). Claudio Simonetti and Massimo Morante started it in 1972, and its first album came out under the name Cherry Five. Since its first North American tour, in 2013, it has split into rival versions: Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin, and a line-up that Morante led with Fabio Pignatelli and Agostino Marangolo until his death in 2022.
