Christopher Owens
Christopher Owens is an American singer-songwriter, born in Miami in 1979 and raised in the Children of God. He fronted the San Francisco band Girls, with Album (2009) and Father, Son, Holy Ghost (2011), and left it in 2012. His solo albums are Lysandre (2013), A New Testament (2014), Chrissybaby Forever (2015) and I Wanna Run Barefoot Through Your Hair (2024), released on Girls’ old label, True Panther.
