Angel Haze

Angel Haze is an American rapper and singer, born in Detroit in 1991, who grew up in a strict church community and moved to Brooklyn as a teenager. The free mixtape Reservation (2012) led to a major-label deal within weeks, and in December 2013 Haze leaked the debut album, Dirty Gold, after a dispute with the label, which released it at the end of that month. Haze is agender, uses they/them, and announced the artist name ROES in 2022, though releases are still billed as Angel Haze.
