PREMIERE: Kinky Fingers – “No Ghost”

kinky-fingers

With a sound previously self-described as “Santa Fe surf,” Denver-based four-piece Kinky Fingers is leaning more toward soul on their new album, Garbage Plate. In fact, the album is a lot like the famous “garbage plate” of Rochester, New York (a plate of fried potatoes, baked beans, hot dogs, onions, mustard, and a chili-like meat sauce): a mash of ingredients, that’ll make you feel like you’re in an American dream, before realizing it’s actually a nightmare. Today, we premiere the band’s soulful slice of mystery ingredients called “No Ghost”. If you’ve never got a taste of this band before, then you’re about to start craving them on a regular basis once you hear this song.
