PREMIERE: Greenhouse – “Acetate”

Taking inspiration from such bands as My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive and Ride, Greenhouse is a new Toronto four-piece you should you have your ears on. The band consists of singer/songwriters Scha Katz and Quinn Fisher with Hugh Hart and Joe Flanigan on bass and drums respectively. Last year, the group released a self-titled EP. This year they dropped a new single, “Vincent Van Slow”, but they’re quickly following that up with the new song, “Acetate”. The noisy waves of guitar layers and driving beat lay the foundation for the ethereal vocals delivering expressions of frustration nearing desperation. Check it out for yourself via our premiere of “Acetate” below.
