Camp Cope – “The Opener”

Credit Allison Nugent

A lot of listeners are likely still reeling after finding out many of their favorite bands/musicians are scumbags. The male ones anyway. What we all need is some strong rock from a strong band like Camp Cope. Everyone knows (or should know now) that the women can rock harder than the boys anyway. Their new single, “The Opener”, is the first taste of their forthcoming sophomore album, which will arrive in 2018 via Run For Cover. The new song, “The Opener”, is timely in that it calls out the men who’ve told them to do things every other way but their own. Loving the emotion packed into this one.
