Indie rock four-piece Strange Phases is readying the release of their debut album, Art of Restart, set to arrive on October 27th via Respectful Lust Records. Born from the vision of guitarist/vocalist Curt Barlage after splitting from his previous band The Bixby Knolls, he connected with drummer Travis Drum and then brought in guitarist/keyboardist Monica Mendoza and bassist Patrick Mertens. Fully assembled the band creates music that brings together 80’s college rock, shoegaze, and 90’s underground. Art of Restart also fleshes out its atmospheric rock with vintage organs, analog synths, violins, and cellos. Today, we share the album single, “Cool”, which more than lives up to its namesake. Check out “Cool” below.
