PREMIERE: Yo No Say – “Lock”

Baltimore five-piece Yo No Say will release their new EP Inner on October 13th. The new five-song EP covers a lot of ground; allowing for multiple listens. Today, we share the EP single, “Lock”. It not only sounds amazing, but it has a great message too. After you listen to the track, get the details on its meaning from Yo No Say frontman Daniel Feldman.

Yo No Say’s Daniel Feldman on the song:

“Lock” is a song about feeling alienated when you’re most in need of help. It works on a personal but more importantly, political level. When refugees and immigrants are increasingly treated as threats instead of human beings, I think it’s important for us to try and imagine what it’s like on the other side of that closing door.
