“Who am I if I’m not with you?” That’s the question posed by Atlanta musician Erik Stephansson, aka Suntrodden, in his new single, “Moonflower”. “Moonflower” appears on Suntrodden’s forthcoming EP III, which delves into the struggle to maintain blood-and-bone relationships and self-identity in a soundbyte-driven online culture. The song’s poignant piano and sparse guitar imbue a somber reality. However, the tone shifts during a hopeful climax where Stephansson’s soft but stirring vocals make us believe anything is possible. Listen to “Moonflower” for yourself via our premiere below.

III follows Suntrodden’s previous EPs, I and II. III releases June 30th with a LP coming later this fall.
