Earbuddy premieres B.E. Godfrey’s heartbreaking new single, “It Was The Wind”.


The Houston-based musician B.E. Godfrey creates music melancholy indie rock with alt-folk influence with hints of a darker “murder ballad” style. Releasing May 20th is Godfrey’s new EP Wild Desperation that was recorded with critically acclaimed producer Robert Ellis and Chris Longwood at Sugarhill Studios. Working with Godfrey, they helped put together a release that recalls the likes of Leonard Cohen, Bill Callahan, and Jason Molina. Today, Earbuddy is happy to premiere the somber new song, “It Was The Wind”, that comes out of nowhere with a twist that will shock and delight listeners. Listen to it below.
