Laetitia Sadier, former Monade and Stereolab member, has announced the release of her sophomore solo album, Silencio, to arrive July 24th through Drag City. Silencio explores such ideas as resisting the rules of the system (i.e. “sticking to the man”) and gaining a deeper personal connection to one’s self while in a broader environment. Sadier’s first single from the album, “Find Me The Pulse of the Universe”, ponders the vast wonders of our world while trying to find ways of stifling confusion surrounding it.
