Conor Oberst & Desapareci​dos Announce New Tour Dates

After a successful jaunt around the East Coast this past fall that ended in a blow-out New York City 10-year reunion show, Desaparecidos, the Nebraska-based 5-piece fronted by Conor Oberst, return for more. Their coast-to-coast tour will kick off August 28th in Minneapolis and will be making several stops including St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Austin, New Orleans and Los Angeles. Conor Oberst will be making solo stops prior to the tour in Vegas and multiple cities in California with The Felice Brothers.

Desaparecidos return as the original line up of Conor Oberst (vocals, guitar) Landon Hedges (bass guitar, vocals), Matt Baum (drums), Denver Dalley (guitar) and Ian McElroy (keyboards). The band formed in 2001, released one album, 2002’s critically lauded Read Music/Speak Spanish, and ceased playing together shortly thereafter. They returned in 2012 and have self-released two 7-inch double A sided singles via their website.
