Having your own record label means that you have to work as a talent scout sometimes. And even though Brendan Benson has a lot on his plate already -- you know, a solo career and his band The Raconteurs with Jack White, Benson still keeps an open ear for budding talent wherever he may hear it. Turns out that he found Young Hines via painters working on his house. Benson was so impressed with the Georgia native that he invited him to record his first album Give Me My Change for Benson's label Readymade Records. On April 10th, the label will release the album, and you can hear the first track "Rainy Day" already. Listen below and see if you can hear the same magic that convinced Benson to sign Young Hines.
