Upon first viewing of Xiu Xiu's new video for "Hi", you could miss some of the subtle imagery going on, like Dick Cheney's autobiography being thrown away in Barnes & Noble garbage. I'm sure there are a few more clever actions taking place, but I can't get over Xiu Xiu's Jamie Stewart lighting his hand on fire. Seems like Stewart didn't like that decision. The new video was directed by David Horvitz and Jamie Stewart and contains more random imagery than you can imagine. Oh, and it gets the point across that the song's title is "Hi". Xiu Xiu's new album Always comes out March 6th on Polyvinyl. Watch "Hi" below.
