Jessie Baylin is a singer/songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee, and as her latest single, "Hurry Hurry" implies, she has talent. And she also has talented friends; one is none other than actress Scarlett Johansson. However, we all know that Scarlett's talents derive from acting. Why she wanted to direct Baylin's latest video for "Hurry Hurry" is beyond me. The video sucks, but the song is quite pretty. Watch the video below and get director wisdom from Johansson herself.
"One of the greatest gifts of growing up with Jessie has been watching her develop as a musician," Director Scarlett Johansson said. "This song has a dreamy Brian Wilson sort of feel; I wanted to build on that and allow the video to carry on dreamily and use the changing tone and Jessie's expression to match the vibe of the melody."
"Hurry Hurry" appears on Baylin's album Little Spark currently in stores via Blonde Rat.
