The Original - "Johnny and Mary" by Robert Palmer (1980)
Best known for his hits, "Addicted To Love" and "Simply Irresistible", many listeners may not be as familiar with the rest of Robert Palmer's career. This song appeared on his album Clues from 1980.
The Cover - as performed by Kisses
Electro-pop duo, Kisses, currently working on the follow-up to their debut album The Heart of the Nightlife, have made the Palmer track a staple at their live shows. Check out their version of the song below.
So what do you think? Do Kisses inject some much needed excitement into Palmer's older track, or does the original stand the test of time to this fresh upstart? Let us know what you think in the comments.
