Listen: Diamond Age – “The Shoreline”

Diamond Age

Diamond Age delivers new album for Pour Le Corps.

Editor’s Note: This post has been modified from the original via a comment from M. Leer below.

Diamond Age is the project of M. Leer (appearing in the photo above as a Japanese wrestler). He has announced a new double EP, Broken World that follows his 2009 release, Beguiling the Hours. Listen to the album’s first single, “The Shoreline”, below.

Beguiling The Hours was a track-for-track reinterpretation of Gareth Williams (This Heat) and Mary Currie’s 1985 ultra rare cassette-only release Flaming Tunes. To create a genuine tribute, Leer took the approach of recording on 4-track and old laptop with limitations and mistakes left in.

  1. Thanks so much for the mention and the links- I appreciate it. However, BROKEN WORLD is not a reinterpretation of Flaming Tunes. The was the 2009 Diamond Age release “Beguiling the Hours”

BROKEN WORLD is the 2nd Diamond Age release, the first for Pour Le Corps records.

    Thanks again for posting.
